Emmaus Satu Mare is one of the biggest work integration social enterprises in Romania according to the Register of Social Enterprises of ANOFM and was selected to be one of the case studies within the BWise project.
The main purpose of the Association is the integration of post-institutionalized young people from a social and professional point of view, offering them jobs, accommodation, meals and access to education and medical care.
The Association is a provider of social services, with a Residential Center for young people working in the social enterprise of insertion of the Association. The association also carries out economic activity that involves the collection, reconditioning, sale and delivery of second-hand items: furniture, crockery, toys, etc. through two stores in Satu Mare, and recently began to produce bags from used materials.
Dalma is a graduate of human resources studies, and is currently one of the youth workers at the Emmaus Satu Mare Solidarity Association and helps us to develop the case study by gathering information from his colleagues.

We all enjoyed a more formal conversation about the job we all share and found out more about the association and each member.
